Sikles is traditional village located in the Annapurna region of Nepal.The village is predominantly inhabitated by Gurung ethnic group, known for the unique traditions,cultural practices, and Gurung language.It offers stunning paranomic views of the Annapurna and Lamjung ranges,making it more popular among trekkers and nature lovers.Sikles is a part of the famous Sikles Trek, which is a lesser-known, off-the-beaten-path trek in the Annapurna region, offering an authentic rural Nepal experience.The surrounding forests are rich in biodiversity, home to various species of birds, rhododendron forests, and wildlife.Sikles falls under the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), a protected region that focuses on the preservation of natural and cultural heritage.

 Kapuche is the lowest-altitude glacial lake in Nepal, located at 2,546 meters (8,353 feet) in the Sikles area.It is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and glaciers.The kapuche is famous for its crystal-clear turquoise waters.The trekking route to Kapuche begins from Sikles and passes through beautiful forests, traditional villages, waterfalls, and alpine landscapes.It is still relatively unknown to mainstream tourists, offering a serene and untouched environment for trekkers.

Itinerary

An arrival at TIA in Kathmandu will be received by our staff and guide with a warm welcome. The guide will be brief with full information about Mardi trek and will check necessary gear.

You can reach Pokhara by roadways in around 6 hours, following the views like rivers, Hills, greenary. Further rest for the trek.

Drive from Pokhara to Sikles, enjoying scenic views of the Annapurna and Lamjung ranges. Explore the village, interact with the Gurung community, and experience the traditional lifestyle.

Start the trek from Sikles, ascending through rhododendron and pine forests. Enjoy mountain views, especially of Mount Lamjung and Annapurna IV.

Hike to Kapuche Lake, passing through rugged terrain, bamboo groves, and alpine meadows. Spend time at the lake, which is fed by glaciers, with crystal-clear turquoise water. Return to Hoga after exploring the lake.

Drive back to Pokhara, taking in the stunning views along the way. You can spend the evening relaxing in Pokhara by the lakeside

After seven days of trekking, we will return to Kathmandu. There's also the option of returning to the capital city via tourist bus. You can get in touch with your correspondent before the expedition to personalize your experience. On the way back home, the aircraft will provide views of the mountains, picturesque landscapes, and charming towns. On our final day in Nepal, we can go shopping for souvenirs when we get in Kathmandu. We will throw you a farewell supper so we can talk more about the trip.
