This is a combined tour to Lumbini and Chitwan National Park for experience in Nepal’s spiritual heritage and natural beauty. Your tour starts from Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, enlisted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The main attractions of this city are Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and the Sacred Garden, a lovely place; different monasteries represent various Buddhist cultures from different parts of the world.Next comes the biodiversity-renowned Chitwan National Park for some exciting jungle safaris. You also do jeep safaris, take canoes on the Rapti River, and go on nature walks, from where you just may spot the Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, elephants, crocodiles, and different species of birds.It is a tour meant for 4-5 days, which will definitely be ideal for those who are looking for a blend of culture and wild adventure. The Autumn season from October to November, and the spring season from March to May, is usually recommended as it has nice weather and greater landscapes.
After having early morning breakfast, you will be driven to Lumbini from Kathmandu. It is about 315 kilometers that will take about 7 – 8 hours. You will be taken to the hotel as soon as you reach Lumbini. You will keep the luggage and get ready for the tour around Lumbini. The major highlights of Lumbini are Ashoka pillar, Maya Devi Temple, Maya Devi Pond, etc. After the tour, you will return back to the hotel. You will then overnight at your hotel.
Today, in the morning after breakfast, drive to Chitwan (5-6 hours). In the evening visit Tharu village to learn their unique lifestyle and culture. The night will be spent at a hotel on a Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basis.Tomorrow morning we will take part in various adventure activities in chitwan.Elephant Safari, Elephant Bathing, Coneing , Elephant Breeding Center and Off to Trishuli river side resort
