Rara lake is the largest and deepest lake in Nepal whose area is 10.8 sq. km. The length of the lake is about 5km where the width is about 3 km. The maximum depth of the Rara Lake is about 166m. To round the rara lake it takes 5 hours to complete one round. The lake is surrounding by Rara National Park. We can see many different kinds of animals and plants. The lake is captivating, attractive and just expansive. Rara is so wonderful that it change its color in night give brightness in the night. Rara lake also called Mahendra tal.

 We can see many mountains for the top of Murma. The hills surrounding the lake is covered with evergreen trees ( forest) like Himalayan cypress, West Himalayan Spruce, Black Juniper and Oak.
