Overview of Mardi Himal Trek

This is a softer Mardi Himal Trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal and presents some brilliant views of the Annapurna massif and a rich cultural opportunity. This five- to seven-day trek from Pokhara usually maintains manifold landscapes, including lush forests, terraced fields, and alpine meadows.

Itinerary

An arrival at TIA in Kathmandu will be received by our staff and guide with a warm welcome. The guide will be brief with full information about Mardi trek and will check necessary gear

From Pokhara, it is a morning drive or a short drive to Kande. Start trekking from Kande to Pothana. It takes 2-3 hours. We move along with panoramic views of the Annapurna range, lush forests, and traditional villages. Overnight stay in teahouse at Pothana.

Duration of Trek: Approximately 6-7 hours.
Itinerary This trail ascends through dense rhododendron and oak forests.
Highlights: Enjoy the tranquility of the forest and the possibility of seeing wildlife.
Accommodation: Forest Camp in a simple lodge.

Trek Time: About 3 to 4 hours.
Route: From here on, the route becomes more abruptly uphill with wonderful views.
Highlights: The panoramic views of the Annapurna range can be viewed from this trek.
Accommodation: Overnight at High Camp.

Trek Duration: About 3-4 hours.
Route: This would be more strenuous of a climb, with the most magnificent view.
Best views: This is another trail which offers panoramic views of the Annapurna range.

We arrive at Base Camp today. Since the Base Camp becomes hazy after lunchtime, we get an early start. Because of the steep path, vigilance must be exercised. However, as we move nearer to the Base Camp and the mountain massifs, everything becomes worthwhile.Eventually, we arrive at Mardi Himal Base Camp after walking around the rim of several hills. We stay here for a while before making our way back to High Camp.

Today, we'll stroll downhill in the direction of the Siddhing Valley. We set out early in the morning because we will be walking for seven or eight hours today. We follow our path back from High Camp to Low Camp. We follow a different route from Low Camp that goes to Siddhing. Amidst the forest and waterfalls, the trail is steep and slick. We will pass by some vegetation and cattle sheds along the route. Stay the night in Siddhing.

After eight days of trekking, we will return to Kathmandu by plane. There's also the option of returning to the capital city via tourist bus. On the way back home, the aircraft will provide views of the mountains, picturesque landscapes, and charming towns. On our final day in Nepal, we can go shopping for souvenirs when we get in Kathmandu. We will throw you a farewell supper so we can talk more about the trip.
