Chitwan takes up the southwestern corner of Bagmati Province. Chitwan is the home for many wild animals. It is the major part of the Nepal where animals and people live happily. Devi lake is the largest lake which is situated inside the Chitwan. Chitwan is a particularly rich in Flora and Fauna.

Chitwan National Park is established in 1973, and it was the First Nepal’s National Park. Chitwan National Park is the home of single horned Asiatic rhinoceros and the Bengal Tiger. The park consists of a diversity of ecosystems-including the Churia hills, Ox-bow lakes, and the flood plains of the Rapti, Reu and Narayani Rivers. It covers the area of 952.63km in the terai region southern of the Nepal. The Churia hills rise slowly towards the east from 150 m. to more than 800 m. The western portion of the park is comprised of the lower but more rugged Someshwar hill. The park shares its eastern boundary with the Parsa Wildlife Reserve. The Climate is offering unique experience in every seasons.

It is the most visited national park in Nepal. It shelters rare animals and beautiful creatures which make them feel safe.
