The Chitwan Jungle Safari let you explore, Chitwan National Park was established in 1973 A.D. It is the oldest and first national park in Nepal. This park is also a part of the UNESCO World Heritage site in Nepal.
In this area, you can have many village tours, view Tharu culture, and take an elephant safari/ jeep safari as per your request in a short span of time.
Chitwan National Park has a lot of rare animals and birds. Some of them include one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, sloth bears, rhesus monkeys, gray langurs, deer, leopards and wild cats and many more. But, the best features of this park are 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal tigers that live in the park.
During Chitwan Jungle Safari, you can either opt for an elephant safari or 4-5 hours jeep safari tour. We can also do a thrilling walking safaris in the national parks.
You can also opt to have a canoe ride on the Rapti river or activities like Elephant Bathing, and enjoy the culture of Tharu’s, the natives of Chitwan.
Trip Highlights for Chitwan Jungle Safari
Day 1: Departure from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Chitwan.
After breakfast, we will be driving from Kathmandu to Chitwan. In Chitwan, we will be dropped off by a private vehicle from the bus stop in Chitwan to the Resort.
We will have lunch at the resort. Then, we will have a sightseeing tour. We will visit Tharu villages, elephant stables, visitor center and sunset view point. We will also do an elephant back safari.
After the safari, we will have dinner and a Tharu cultural program.

Today, we will leave Chitwan to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
