Nage Pokhari is a sacred high lake above the historic district of Gorkha, reached via the Ajirkot ridge at 3,260 m. It is a fresh, community-developed trekking destination that rewards visitors with an enormous Himalayan horizon.

From the top the panorama sweeps across Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Buddha Himal and the Annapurnas, while the trail passes through Gurung and Magar villages steeped in the history of unified Nepal.
