March to May is Nepal's rhododendron spring — warm days, blooming forests and the busiest, most beautiful trekking window of the year.
Spring (March–May) is one of the two prime trekking seasons in Nepal. As the weather warms, the rhododendron forests erupt into red, pink and white — turning the lower trails into a riot of colour.
Daytime temperatures are comfortable, daylight is long and visibility is excellent, making it the top season for high routes like Everest Base Camp, the Annapurna Circuit and Manaslu.
It's also the main Himalayan climbing season, so the trails carry an electric, expedition-bound buzz. Book early — spring is popular.

Spring runs from March to May. March brings the rhododendron bloom at lower elevations, April is peak season with the best balance of weather and colour, and May is warm and green before the June monsoon.
Both are excellent. Autumn (Sep–Nov) has the sharpest skies; spring (Mar–May) has warmer weather and the rhododendron bloom. Spring is the better choice for high-altitude climbing peaks.
